Spasimira is a 17 year old girl with a very severe Epilepsy - Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. Find out more about the Epilepsy – Click here.

She is making seizures everyday and that is affecting her way of living tremendously. She needs constant supervision and as she is not able to walk neither talk or handle her daily needs - like going to the bathroom for example or eating on her own. Because of the stiff drugs that she is taking for 17 years now her overall medical condition is getting worse. She needs immediate change in treatment. The only way she can achieve that is starting a ketogenic diet. Find out more about the Ketogenic diet – Click here.

She visited a KETODIET klinik in Munich, Germany - and they gave her hope that the Ketogenic diet will almost for sure make things better. Unfortunately her family cannot afford to pay for the stay and the treatment. The course of the treatment + education of the parents in how to handle the Ketogenic diet themselves at home will cost approximately 50 000 EURos.
